OTKB

I have been patiently waiting for The LOFT to get their Over-The-Knee-Boot back into stock. Who knew they'd be sold out when it's only mid-September and not even cold enough to wear boots....90+ degrees outside. And by sold out, I mean sold out in store, on-line, and every store within 150 miles of my zip code, sold out!

Ann Taylor Loft Boots

I don't know if you have seen the recent Marshall's commercial...with the designer's assistants who order  a 1,000 boots each when the designer only wants the original 1,000, so obviously Marshall's takes the extras. Well the boots featured are adorable (and very similar to the ones above) and there was not way that those boots would actually be in their stores, right? Well you guessed wrong! They have them in black and brown and I snagged myself a pair before they were sold out as well.

What do you think? Keep these or wait till October for the Ann Taylor LOFT ones?

They aren't quite "over the knee" so that's why I am a bit iffy...hit right in the middle of my knee.

A little lace up action in the back. The straps around the calf is a little bigger than the boot...wish that was a little snugger.

It's impossible to do anything, with three dogs...."go away....your in the picture"...

  1. Ann Taylor ones for sure! Can't say I'm the biggest fan of the ties on the Marshalls boots, plus the ATL ones look like authentic riding boots. I think I'll be snapping up a pair when they become available again :)

  4. Golly jeepers, what to do, what to do. I wish the LOFT ones were in stock so I could try them on and compare. There was a girl in the LOFT with them on and they were for sure over her knee which is the only thing I wished were different about the Marshall's ones.

  6. I was in there too! She lives on my street and I love those boots. That's it. I'll take these back before my 30 days are up that way I can see if ATL get's more in. If I absolutely couldn't have those then I'd be fine with these, but I'd really do love the ATL OTKB!

  10. What is the style name of that boot?? I have been looking and looking, but I can't find it, but I think that with the style name it'll be easier... Thanks!

  11. Hi Janice, I wish I still had the boots and I'd give you the style number. I just know the brand was Me Too. They were on the Marshalls commercial where the two assistants order too many boots so Marshalls takes them. They did have them rolled over so I didn't notice them at first. If I'm back over that way, I'll run in and see if I can find the actual style name. The Ann Taylor ones are called Peter and are back in stock plus 25% off.

  12. I stumbled upon this page while searching for the Me Too boots online after being unsuccessful in the store...I must tell you, when I saw the Marshalls commercial I said "I WANT THOSE!!" soon after I saw a pile of them in a Marshalls store but didn't have time to try them on....so I went back to find only one pair left 3 sizes too small...so now I'm kicking myself with my bootless foot =(

For anyone that finds them online, please let me know...the style name is Donna, I can't find them anywhere...however I do like the Ann Taylor ones so thank you for posting this and happy fall to all!!!

  13. Okay! I had the complete opposite thing happen to me. I got the marshalls me too boots and returned them and got the ATL peter over the knee riding boot. But NOWWWW because I am such a pain, I want the marshalls one AGAIN because I do NOT like how you cannot fold over the ones from ATL. ahhh maybe you can help me and change my mind.

  14. Forget the boots. Who is the actor plying the role of designer in that boot commercial for Marshalls? He is hot!

  16. The Marshall boots are "Me Too". I haven't heard much more about them. They were about $120 and the ATL ones are on sale this weekend for around $130.

  18. Found two similar boots:
    Vince Camuto Fays
    and
Steve Madden Omegaa boots. Both have laces on back of knee. I ordered the Fays and they are really beautiful... can either fold them down for below the knee or unfold for over the knee. Very stylish. I think Zappos has both of them, just google the names and they should come up. I bought my Fays from shoegalleryonline and got free shipping. I think Piperlime has the Fays too. Oh, I ordered the Fays chestnut color, but I really love the brown color of the Steve Madden ones... of course I only saw those online.

  20. Yea...there was something that just wasn't doing it for me...I was trying to fill the empty void in my heart for the ATL OTKB!

  21. Are you kidding?? Marshalls ones for sure!! I jsut bought the same ones today and have been going crazy trying to find a pair for my sister but not one store anywhere in New England it seems has any brown ones left! I absolutely love them!! If you know of any store that still has them in the brown let me know! Oh and on the strap being too loose I just made another hole so it fits nice and snug now..

  22. I absolutely love the Marshalls boots! I have been looking for them everywhere and can't find them in brown in my size. I just found the brown ones on ebay, but they are a size 6, which is too small for me :( But I figured I'd let you other ladies know in case they'll work for you!

  23. Seriously!! I am so excited about the Me Too boots...the price I paid? $75! I just happened to toodle by them at TjMax! I think the best part about them is that you can leave the boot all the way up OR fold the top down over the outside OR fold it right inside so it looks like a riding boot(my favorite way). YAY boots!

  24. To the girl in the picture wearing the boots from Marshalls. I've been looking for months for those boots and can't find them anywhere! Would you be willing to sell them?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I wish I had them to sell. I ended up taking them back and getting the Ann Taylor Loft boots. These were not tall enough for my liking. Good luck on your hunt.
